Our Experts

Heather Shalayko

Owner, HHP, CWP, CLC

Heather Shalayko is a Holistic Health Practitioner, Certified Wellness Practitioner, and Certified Lactation Counselor. Heather has a Bachelors of Science in Wellness, Health Promotion, and Injury Prevention from Oakland University and she is currently completing her Masters Degree.  Heather has worked in the health and wellness field for over 12 years in the community, government, institutional, private and non-profit sectors.  Heather is a mom to two beautiful girls and loves the outdoors. Heather and her husband Steve both grew up and graduated from Oxford High School and she is so happy to be back here, as a small business owner.

Heather is looking forward to bringing her experience teaching mindfulness, nutrition, and various physical activity programs to the Simple Organics community. One of her favorite programs she teaches is Cooking with Kids, a family based nutrition program. “I have found that when families learn together, they’re much more likely to make those healthy behavior changes and be successful together.” Heather wants Simple to continue to be a staple for health and wellness in the community and move toward an overall wellness center. Simple Organics will have biweekly breastfeeding hours starting in October where new moms and expecting moms can come in, sip on some tea, and get breastfeeding support for free. When Heather had her two daughters she struggled to find breastfeeding support. Heather wants to change that and support new moms to successfully breastfeed for as long as they want to!

Product Details

This concentrated eye serum is a botanical elixir crafted to soothe, revive, and nurture the delicate skin around your eyes. Infused with vibrant plant essences and nutrient-rich oils, it delivers a deeply nourishing touch. Jojoba and castor seed oils balance moisture without feeling heavy, while carrot CO₂ and rosehip oils promote a radiant, healthy glow.

Enriched with the spirit of frankincense resin and the regenerative properties of helichrysum—known as the eternal bloom—this serum offers both a sense of calm and rejuvenation.

At the heart of the formula is a blend of sustainably sourced sweet white lupin seed extract, rich in lupeol, which supports the synthesis of high-quality collagen. This potent active enhances elasticity and firmness, refining the eye area while fostering resilience.

Vitamin K2, a natural powerhouse, works to brighten and reduce the appearance of dark circles, while its sebum-regulating and anti-inflammatory properties help balance, calm, and refine skin. A touch of mica lends a soft, natural glow, illuminating the eyes with subtle radiance.

Each drop is a grounding, skin-loving experience—an invitation to honor the beauty of every expression. This healing balm, both grounding and revitalizing, softens and brightens the eye area with gentle yet potent botanicals, offering a moment of care with every application.

Use daily.

Gently press oil onto a clean, damp under/over eye area.  This versatile serum can also be used on the lips, face, or any areas needing extra care and nourishment. Allow the serum to absorb fully before applying makeup or other products.

Take a moment to breathe deeply, letting the grounding aroma of frankincense and helichrysum calm your mind and spirit as you care for your skin.
